Turner Contemporary is one of the UK’s leading art galleries. Situated on Margate seafront, the gallery’s cafe has panoramic sea views overlooking Margate Bay and serves locally sourced, seasonal food throughout the year.
The cafe serves a variety of delicious dishes, from cheese boards and salads to homemade soups, warming specials and a selection of cakes all made by our skilled chefs. All produce is locally sourced where possible, making connections with the unique location of the cafe on the North Kent coast.
Alongside its seasonal menus and weekly vegetarian specials the cafe also offers a Turner Afternoon Tea, and throughout the summer months there is ice cream on Turner Contemporary’s outdoor terrace.
Try evening dining at Turner Contemporary every Friday and Saturday between 6.30 and 9pm. The menus change weekly, allowing you to enjoy and sample new seasonal, fresh, local food with stunning sunset views overlooking Margate Bay – the same views that inspired Britain’s best-loved painter, J.M.W. Turner.
2 courses for £16.95 / 3 courses for £19.95.
From our unique Turner Kentish Hash of sausage, bacon, chorizo, potato and egg to our pan fried field mushrooms with lemon and thyme on toast, our breakfasts are available all day.
