Kent’s nightlife hotspots for the festive season

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. And whilst there’s plenty to look forward to with friends and family, there are also lots of fun nightlife opportunities to enjoy in Kent over the next couple of months.

So why not give yourself a break from the shopping fever by seeing how you can enjoy the best bars, restaurants, clubs and casinos in the Kent area this Christmas.

It’s easy to see why food outlets like The Sportsman have been frequently labelled the UK’s best restaurant, as this easy-going eatery in Whitstable provides a great example of how we can enjoy Michelin-quality food without having to head into London.

Canterbury is enjoying a real revival in its food scene with restaurants like Ambrette and Deesons showing how this is a great city for fine dining. And further afield, gastropubs like The Kings Head in Ashford and Compasses Inn in Crundale perfectly illustrate why you’re never likely to go hungry in this food-obsessed county.

Chromos in Canterbury is a great place to spend some time on an evening. With no less than two food outlets, a cinema, a hair salon and even a cereal cafe, it shows how there’s always something new to discover. And whilst it doesn’t have a casino, you can still head over to the Gentings gambling establishment in Margate, or even play casino games online at InterCasino for an easy alternative.

We should also mention how Fuggles in Tunbridge Wells is earning a great reputation for its impressive range of draught beers. With over 20 draught beers and ciders and hundreds of bottles, this charming ‘beer cafe’ gives us a nice and relaxed alternative to the standard pub or bar, and it’s definitely the real deal for anybody with an interest in fine Belgian beers.

If you’re looking for a very stylish way to escape the chilly night air, then definitely think about heading to The George Vaults in Rochester. This is a chic brasserie excels in offering a fantastic selection of wines within the slightly spooky space that used to once be a crypt!

And with places like The Lane in Deal giving us chance to celebrate the festive season with a couple of well-earned cocktails, it shows how there’s no shortage of stylish places to relax with friends and family in Kent this Christmas.
