A popular restaurant with the people of Ashford, this restaurant offers an A La Carte menu or an ‘All you can eat’ option.  Whatever you choose, all orders are cooked fresh and brought to the table.  The consensus seems to be: great food at great prices.

Peninsula Chinese Restaurant, Broadstairs

Order your food in the bar area of this relaxed, traditional restaurant and enjoy a drink while you wait to be seated in the quiet, spacious dining room.  A little pricier than average but generally felt to be well worth it by the customers.

Tang’s, Chatham

This restaurant offers an ‘All you can eat’ menu for £18 per person.  You can choose six starters, one main and five other dishes and have as much as you want of each.  All the food is freshly cooked, the service is swift and the restaurant copes well with large parties.

Peking Garden, Dartford

Praised by customers for its authentic food this is a well-regarded, reasonably priced restaurant with good service.

Hop Kweng, Folkstone

Described by customers as ‘a gem’ this restaurant has been run by the same family for forty-six years.  Don’t be put off by the modest exterior, inside you’ll find old fashioned charm and discrete four-person dining alcoves.  Most importantly the food is outstanding, freshly prepared and with authentic flavours that will have you coming back time and time again.


 Wing Lee, Gravesend

Another restaurant which offers the popular ‘Eat as much as you like’ menu.  Rather than being kept warm under heating lights, dishes are cooked to order.  This restaurant offers great value, great service and great food.

Tai Won Mein Noodle House, Gillingham

This is a no-frills restaurant with communal seating and wooden chairs that you probably won’t want to linger on.  Perhaps not first choice for a romantic date but a great place to get huge portions of tasty food at very reasonable prices.

Crown City, Maidstone

This hundred-seater fusion restaurant offers, Chinese, Thai and Malaysian food.  You can choose from the A La Carte menu or opt for the lunchtime buffet where you can choose four starters and four mains from an impressively wide menu, all for £17.90.


Panorama Restaurant, Ramsgate

This spacious, pleasant restaurant gets consistently good reviews.  It offers great food, great service and is able to cater for large parties.

The Longhouse, Sevenoaks

Offering a fusion of Chinese, Malaysian and Thai food, this small restaurant has a good reputation and offers an impressive range of vegetarian food.
