Enjoy the very best shopping and leisure at Bluewater this February

For families looking for a great day out in Kent, head to Bluewater, Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination to enjoy the very best in retail therapy, leisure activities and dining, whether the weather is good or bad, we have it covered.

For half term fun, why not encourage the kids to get creative for free with the ‘Make & Do’ puppet stand, located outside EAT on the Lower Rose Gallery at Bluewater. Demonstrators will be on hand from 9AM to 5PM to show children how to make fun hand characters out of socks. Supported by Heart FM and Plusnet, this is the perfect activity for keeping little ones entertained on rainy days.

For a more relaxing afternoon, why not head to Showcase Cinema De Lux to enjoy the latest movie releases, including The Lego Batman Movie (10th Feb). For adults, the biographical drama, Hidden Figures (17th Feb), is a must-see, or how about the newest installment in the erotic-romance trilogy, Fifty Shades Darker (10th Feb).

Visitors can also enjoy a meal at one of 60 places to eat and drink, with plenty of family favourites including TGI Fridays, Bella Italia and Nando’s.

For those looking for a spot of retail therapy, Bluewater has over 300 stores, offering the latest brands and must-haves, such as New Look Men, H&M, Mint Velvet, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser. There’s plenty for kids too with stores including LEGO, The Entertainer, Early Learning Centre and the Disney Store offering the latest toys, games and merchandise.

Continue the fun at Splat, the soft play zone where children up to the age of seven can leap about to their heart’s content.  A small Splat play area for under threes is also available offering lots of fun for tiny tots.

With spring just around the corner, it’s a great time for guests to explore the 50 acres of stunning Green Flag parkland and lakes surrounding Bluewater. This beautiful space is a haven for many species of flora and fauna, and is the perfect place for family walks. The great outdoors at Bluewater is also home to three kid’s playgrounds, including sandpits, climbing areas and an adventure trail.

If the sun shines, why not visit Pirate’s Cove Adventure Park, where guests of all ages can navigate their way through two adventure-filled 18-hole mini golf courses, featuring pirate ships, cascading waterfalls, castles and sunken boats.

And don’t forget, car enthusiasts should head to Bluewater, outside M&S, this month as BMW and Mini will be unveiling the all-new 5 Series and Cooper at 6.30pm on 9th February. The new models will be in on display until 12th February for those wanting to be amongst the first to book in a test drive and go for a spin.

And, those looking for a touch of romance can join Jo Malone London with someone special and enjoy Valentine’s Day inspired treats and British Sparkling Wine whilst indulging in a luxurious hand and arm massage. Treatments will take place between 9am-8pm on Saturday 11th February but be sure to book an appointment to secure a place.
